Acoording to various studies Photovoltaic Energy conversion will have a significant impact on future energy supply. The focus of the lecture "Photovoltaic-Technology" will be on working principles and production of solar cells based on crystalline silicon.
Moreover special features of other solar cells, such as e.g. amorphous silicon thin-film cells, will also be studied. Methods of cell characterization and module fabrication will complete the lecture.
